Liam Monte from AM3D Amongst the TCT Show Conference Jet Set Speakers

Between September 26th and 28th 2017, NEC Birmingham exhibition center will host one of the largest 3D Printing technology fair in the world. Every year, the event gathers crowds of exhibitors, specialists, engineers, constructors and enthusiasts of additive technology. Participants of this meeting will have a chance to take part in demonstrations of new products and a series of inspirational lectures. Among the experts there will be Liam Monte, the Managing Director from AM3D, the British reseller of VSHAPER solutions.

During the conference accompanying the TCT Show 2017, nearly 70 excellent speakers will give their lectures. Among the lecturers there will be representatives from the most important companies in the 3D Printing field as well as industry representatives who successfully use 3D Printing in the production or research work. The lecturers are Sam Onukuri from Johnson & Johnson, Gerd Manz from Adidas, Dr. Robert Yancey from Autodesk, Maria Company from Hewlett-Packard, and Dr. James Moultrie from University of Cambridge, among others.

The lectures will take place on 3 stages. Liam Monte, talking about “3D Printing as alternative for conventional production methods” will appear on Product Stage on September 26th – the opening day of the event at 3:30 pm.

The presentation by Liam Monte will constitute the answer to the striving of the industrial world to substitute commonly used metals with high quality polymer and composite materials. Three-dimensional prints are characterized by high endurance to stretching or bending and shock loading. They are often used as alternatives to elements made of iron, lead or titanium. Until recently, most common industrial application of 3D Printing technology has been rapid prototyping of testing parts.

Today, additive manufacturing supports small-lot production and fully functional components production. For many producers, 3D Printing has become an essential tool for enhancing the quality of production process, creating and testing new solutions and making assembly more efficient. During my lecture I will be presenting practical examples of the implementation of 3D Printing technology by the VSHAPER team – says Liam Monte.

All VSHAPER solutions and the latest version of SOFTSHAPER 2018 software will be presented at stand F40 in the heart of NEC, Birmingham.
